Carrollton CUSD No. 1 board discusses donations, attendance data

The Carrollton Community Unit School District (CUSD) No. 1 board discussed charitable donations and strategic planning at its meeting.

Old-business agenda items included diesel fuel bids and strategic planning that involved belief and mission statements.

On the communications agenda, the board discussed the ROE Gifted Olympiad, the CHS Civics Club's Flags for Veterans Program, drug-awareness assemblies and the superintendent’s report, which included information on technology, the PARCC assessment, estimated average daily attendance data, and an update on facilities and grounds.

Under the consent agenda, the board assessed donations and financial reports. Donations that were discussed included the Art Linn Memorial and the Meek Charitable Trust. Financial reports included the treasurer’s report, bills for approval, school activity reports and the payroll report.
