The Jacksonville School District No. 117 Board discussed preparations for a tentative amended budget at its Wednesday, March 16 meeting.
The board also considered creating modular classrooms during the Jacksonville Middle School construction and renovation project.
The board also considered bids to purchase a commercial refrigerated food truck and four used buses.
Discussions were held on the staff development program, teacher qualifications, substitute teachers, leaves of absence, student teachers, duties and qualifications, sick days, vacation days, holidays and leave days, travel allowances and the concussion policy.
