Greenfield Public Library Board discusses joining SHARE program

The Greenfield Public Library Board of Trustees recently met to hear a SHARE presentation made by Chris Dawdy.

Dawdy explained the process of joining SHARE to the board. The library has received a grant that will cover the cost of converting to an electronic cataloging system to be a part of SHARE.

The board also discussed the homecoming calendar fundraiser, the Easter fundraiser and the Hembrough Trust application.

Amy Turpin is the president of the board, while Teri Cook is the vice president and Martha Rawe is treasurer. Additional members of the board include Kate Fabion, Don Roberts, Harla Merriman, Kelly Hall, Tabitha Barrow and Hanna Wood. Brenda Shipley is the director and head librarian.
