Walker named Greenville's new economic development coordinator
The city of Greenville has appointed Bill Walker as its new economic development coordinator.
Walker will be initiate and respond to potential business opportunities for the city of Greenville, in addition to developing new methods to generate leads from interested parties.
He previously worked as the interim editor for the Greenville Advocate.
"We are very excited to use Bill's skills with social media and marketing to help get the word out that Greenville is a great place to do business," City Manager Dave Willey said.
Walker graduated from Southern Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in business and marketing.
