Q1 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Cass County?

There were two offenders released on parole during that live in Cass County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by West Central Reporter.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in Cass County were men. The younger parolee was a 30-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2019. The other was a 38-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving alcohol in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Bradley A. Walker. He was convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2017 when he was 36 years old. He is now 38.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the first quarter in each Cass County municipality.
