City of Greenville issued the following announcement on July 1.
The City of Greenville will hold a special council meeting on Tuesday, July 7th at 7:00 p.m. for a presentation on police policies and procedures. The presentation will include hiring practices, training, continuing education, performance standards and evaluations.
City officials are working to determine the most appropriate location for the meeting for those interested in attending and to comply with Phase 4 of Restore Illinois. The meeting will be available via a conference call line or live-streamed on the City of Greenville’s Facebook page. The location will be announced as soon as possible.
