CITY OF GREENVILLE: Financial Assistance Available For Utilities

City of Greenville issued the following announcement on Aug. 6.

Following are two programs that may provide assistance for water and sewer utility bills.

City of Greenville COVID Utility Relief Program – City of Greenville is offering $200 credit on residential accounts and $400 on commercial accounts to assist those adversely impacted financially by the coronavirus pandemic. Residents and businesses simply need to print out and complete the COVID Utility Relief form HERE. Deadline to apply is August 31, 2020.

Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) – The State of Illinois is offering an energy assistance program or residential customers through the BCMW. This program is income based and can provide assistance for home energy services including water and sewer service payments. Contact the local office at 618-664-3309 for more information.
