City of Greenville issued the following announcement on May. 7.
The City of Greenville will be flushing the water main and distribution system. Flushing will begin Monday, May 10, 2021 and continue through Friday, June 11, 2021. The City will be flushing fire hydrants from the water plant to the water towers and working outwards from the water towers toward the end of the water mains.
Residents may experience some discoloration in the water during this process.
