Report: Greenfield School District spent $11,028 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Greenfield Community Unit School District 10 was up 10.9 percent from five years ago, according to the West Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Greene County school district spent $9,943 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,028 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 459 to 429 students over the same period.

Greenfield's spending in 2019-20 was 23.9 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
