City of Macomb Fire and Police Commission met Feb. 28.

MEETING CALLED TO ORDER
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
PUBLIC COMMENTS – Citizens wishing to address the Fire and Police Commission on matters germane to the agenda of the meeting will be limited to Three (3) minutes and are asked to be brief and concise in making their remarks. Comments submitted by mail or email will not be read aloud but a copy will be provided to each member of the Commission and made a part of the minutes.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. January 9th, 2024 (Open)
2. February 7th, 2024 (Open)
3. January 9th, 2024 (Closed)
NEW BUSINESS
1. Permission to promote a Lieutenant from the current eligibility list.
2. Permission to promote a Sergeant from the current eligibility list.
3. Permission to set dates to open application for initial applicant testing.
4. MPD shorter application is available for review.
CLOSED SESSION
To consider information relative to:
1. To consider information relative to appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of an employee of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(1) of the Open Meetings Act. (Only if needed)
2. Review and approval of closed session meeting minutes, and determine which ones should remain closed. (Only if needed)
