E85 gas was sold at the lowest price of $2.79 per gallon at one gas station in Morgan County during the week ending Mar. 14, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

Reported prices for E85 gas in Morgan County averaged $2.96 per gallon.

Of the 22 reported gas stations in cities within Morgan County, three offered E85 gas.

The statewide average price of E85 gas in Illinois was $2.97 per gallon for the week ending Mar. 14, an increase from the previous week.

U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
