Additional Chief Human Resources Officer Interview Set

Rebecca Hinrichs, former vice president for human resources at Riverside Healthcare in Kankakee, will interview Thursday, Sept. 15 for the Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) position at Western Illinois University

An open session for the campus community will be held with Hinrichs from 1:30-2:10 p.m. in the University Union Capitol Room and via Zoom. For those participating via Zoom, registration must be completed in advance at bit.ly/3q042e6.

Hinrichs served as the vice president for human resources at Riverside Healthcare from 2006-2021. She also worked at Riverside as the corporate director of human resources and senior human resources officer (2005-2006), director of human resources (1993-2005) and employment manager (1990-1993).

Hinrichs received her MBA and a bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University.

James Kammerer, chief administrative officer at Great River Health System, Inc., in West Burlington, IA, interviewed Aug. 30.

Kammerer has served as chief administrative officer for Great River Health System, Inc. since 2018. Previously, he served as vice president for support services (2011-18), director of human resources (2005-11), manager of human resources (1999-05) and recruitment and benefits coordinator (1995-99) for Great River Health System; console operator for Con-Agra Foods in Fort Madison, IA, in 1995; office manager trainee (1992), office assistant manager (1992), hardware department assistant manager (1992-93), hardware department manager (1993-94) and millwork department manager (1994-95) for Menards, Inc. in West Burlington, IA, from 1992-1995; and employment consultant for Proteus Employment Opportunities, Inc. in Muscatine, IA, from 1990-91.

He received his MBA from St. Ambrose University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from University of Iowa.
