Good Hope-Sciota Fire Protection District responded to six calls in 2018 – 60 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Good Hope-Sciota included six fires – three structure fires and three other fires.

In all, the department saw $405,000 in fire loss – or about $67,500 per fire.
