Senior forward Mia Nicastro of Western Illinois University women’s basketball has been named to the Finalist List for the 2026 Lilly Women’s College All-Star Game, according to a March 11 announcement from the university.

Nicastro’s recognition places her among more than 100 senior players across Division I women’s basketball who are being honored for their achievements and impact on the game. The event is scheduled for April 4 at Global Credit Union Arena on the campus of Grand Canyon University and will be nationally televised on ESPN2.

Nicastro has played a key role in Western Illinois’ successful season, contributing as a leader both offensively and defensively. Her performance has helped guide the Leathernecks to capture the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament title and secure a spot in the NCAA Tournament, continuing what has been described as a historic season for the program.

The Lilly Women’s College All-Star Game is known as one of the premier showcases for graduating seniors in women’s basketball, offering participants an opportunity to compete on a national stage during championship weekend. Western Illinois University Leathernecks Women’s Basketball holds its home games on campus in Macomb, Illinois, according to the official website.
