The Pawnee Community Unit School District (CUSD) No. 11 board signed off on several resignations and a retirement during a recent meeting.
The board approved teacher Diana Doglio’s retirement, which is set to take place at the end of the 2015-16 school year. The board extended thanks to Doglio for her 35 years of service to Pawnee schools.
The board also accepted the resignations of high school cheerleading coach Mindy Tuxhorn and football coaches Kitt Thein, Steve Haney and Troy Grant.
Edwin Rodriguez, Dave Jones, Stephen Underwood and Tom Garvin were approved unanimously as volunteer baseball coaches.
The board also approved the hiring of Pehlman and Dold PC to perform the board's 2016 annual audit.
