Jacksonville trustees consider reciprocal reporting of student crime

School District No. 117's Board of Education in the city of Jacksonville met this week to discuss guidelines for reciprocal reporting of criminal offenses committed by students.

The board also discussed collective negotiating matters between the district and its employees or their representatives, and deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees.

The trustees also considered academic calendars for the next three years.

Finally, the board considered bids for the Jacksonville Middle School renovation, the lease of modular classrooms, and construction of a roof over the vocational trades area at Jacksonville High School.

The board meets at Jacksonville High School, 516 Jordan St.
