Jerseyville City Council approves payments of $347,000

The Jerseyville City Council met March 29 to approve the bills as presented in the total amount of more than $347,000.

The motion was carried with no objection.

The City Council also accepted the resignation of Rob Updike from the Jerseyville Fire Dept; approved the Planning & Zoning Board's recommendation to accept the TIF applications and authorize the mayor and city clerk to execute the redevelopment agreement; and approved an ordinance increasing the number of Class A Liquor Licenses from three to five.

The City Council also approved an ordinance amending Freedom of Information Act Ordinance designating the police department's records clerk as the FOIA officer.
