There was one offender released on parole during 2018 that lives in Hardin zip code 62047, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by West Central Reporter.

The data shows that the released offender was Rodney Hughes. He was convicted of a property crime in 2018, when he was 45. He is now 46.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
