Western Illinois University's women's golf team is set to participate in the Coyote Creek Classic this weekend, from October 7-8, in Bartonville, Illinois. The tournament will be held at the Coyote Creek Golf Club, a par 72 course that spans 6,700 yards. This event marks the Bradley Invitational and will feature three rounds of play.

The Leathernecks are coming off their third fall tournament where they finished in 10th place out of 12 teams. Senior Natalie Hooper led the team with a top-ten finish, tying for ninth place with a score of 153 (+7). She recorded four birdies during the tournament and showed her best performance on the front nine holes.

Senior Hannah Butler also contributed significantly by leading the team with seven birdies. Despite a slow start in round one, she managed to recover with notable performances on holes 15 and 16.

The lineup for Western Illinois includes Natalie Hooper, Oliva Kerr, Hannah Butler, Makayla Mussatto, Olivia McCrystal, and Gabriela Galindo Rubio as an individual competitor. The competition will include teams from Illinois State, Green Bay, Chicago State, Southern Indiana, Northern Iowa, Evansville, and Purdue Fort Wayne.

Live stats for the tournament can be accessed via Birdie Fire's platform.
