A trio of student-athletes from the Western Illinois University women's golf team received recognition for their academic achievements. Olivia Kerr, Katie Tanner, and Riley Hansen were named to the 2022-23 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team.

This honor was bestowed upon a total of 1,401 women's collegiate golfers from 378 programs. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are known to be among the most demanding in college athletics, emphasizing the academic accomplishments of these athletes.

To qualify for this recognition, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, remain an amateur on the team's roster through the season's end, and have participated in at least 50% of the team's competitive rounds during the year leading up to the conference championship.
