Western Illinois University defensive back Don Paul Keith has been recognized as the OVC-Big South Co-Freshman of the Week after his performance in the team's 24-21 win over Lindenwood. Keith contributed three tackles and two pass breakups during the game. A key moment came late in the second half when he recovered a muffed punt deep in Lindenwood territory, which set up an important scoring drive for Western Illinois.
