In an Oct. 14 Facebook post, Illinois State Sen. Jil Tracy (R-Quincy) shared her thanks to attendees of a legislative lunch event in Macomb.

“Thank you to everyone who attended our legislative luncheon in Macomb yesterday,” the senator said. “It was nice to see so many faces and talk about several key legislative issues impacting our state’s residents.  We’ll return to Springfield for Veto Session in approximately one month.”

Tracy recently shared information about Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer,” she wrote.  She also shared a link to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, which offers a variety of programs and support for individuals facing a breast cancer diagnosis. The organization’s programs include: a patient navigation program, a national mammography program, Hope Kits, retreats for individuals with metastatic breast cancer, support groups, as well as education and research.

In October, Tracy visited middle school students and talked about her role in the Senate.

She also took aim at Gov. J.B. Pritzker for the payment made in regard to the state’s unemployment trust fund debt. “Governor J.B. Pritzker is touting a sweep of the Illinois unemployment trust fund paid for by businesses,” she wrote on Facebook.
