Western Illinois Cross Country reveals competitive fall schedule for 2025

Western Illinois University’s cross country team has announced its schedule for the 2025 fall season. The Leathernecks are set to compete in a series of non-conference events and Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) meets, aiming to gain momentum as they enter the new season.

The team’s season will commence with a race at Northern Illinois University on September 5th. This will be followed by a competition at Illinois State University on September 12th.

The Leathernecks will then participate in races at the University of Missouri on September 26th, the University of Notre Dame on October 3rd, and Bradley University on October 17th. The team will proceed to compete in the OVC Championships scheduled for October 31st, followed by the NCAA Regional Championships on November 14th, and finally, the NCAA National Championships on November 22nd.

The upcoming season presents an opportunity for Western Illinois’ cross country team to make an impact in conference competitions and build towards a successful postseason.
