The Jerseyville City Council discussed a Jersey County Historical Society tourism grant request for $1,300 to help fund the annual Apple Festival during a meeting this week.
The council also discussed for approval a supplemental No. 1 preliminary engineering services agreement for a road project at Highway 109 and West County Road.
The council also examined for approval the MFT 2015 municipal maintenance expenditure statement, as well as a 2016 municipal estimate of maintenance costs.
The council also discussed for approval the annual agreement for Fourth of July fireworks that the city has had with Central States Fireworks and a request to send the deputy city clerk to the International Institute of Municipal Clerks conference this spring in Omaha.
