The Jerseyville City Council at a recent meeting approved a $700 request from the Willow Rose Rehab & Healthcare Facility to fund its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Good Friday.
The council also accepted the resignation of Donald Noll from the Jerseyville Fire Department. Noll, who is moving to the Belleville area, worked for the department for over five years.
The council also discussed the possibility of privatizing city water and sewer services, and how such a move would affect residents, such as whether rates would go up.
