The Auburn Public Library board approved the hiring of Calla Patton as Auburn Public Library's new director at a recent meeting.
The board approved the hire unanimously. The board also agreed to add Patton to the library's UCB Bank Visa credit card. The motion carried, also unanimously.
Present at the meeting were President Diana Coffman, Vice President Heather Burton, Treasurer Dave Hallerberg, Lisa Talley, Janice Rothering, Amy Steele and Shirley DeHeve.
