Jacksonville Public Library's annual film series explores 'Justice and Injustice'

Jacksonville Public Library is hosting the third annual Humanities Film Series, in conjunction with MacMurray College, and will screen the film “Examined Life” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 24, at the library, 201 W. College Ave.

This year's theme is "Perspectives on Justice and Injustice." Each film will be followed up by a discussion led by instructors from MacMurray and Illinois Colleges. The community is welcome to participate.

“Examined Life” explores philosophy’s practical applications in the modern world. Nick Sciullo, Illinois College assistant professor of communication and rhetorical studies, will host a discussion after the film.
