Southwestern CUSD No. 9 Board to consider bids for electrical upgrade

Southwestern Community Unit School District (CUSD) No. 9 Board will consider contract bids for an electrical upgrade to the high school at its next meeting at 7 p.m. today in the Middle School Gymnasium.

The board also will recognize PARCC and ACT student test takers, as well as consider various resolutions, including one that authorizes the honorable dismissal of educational support personnel and one that authorizes the dismissal of part-time educational support personnel.

The board also will consider contract bids to paint the high school, as well as oil and chip bids for the high school, middle school, and Brighton North and Shipman Elementary Schools.

Several resignations, retirements and new hires will be announced at the meeting as well.
