Jacksonville High School senior basketball player Olivia Kaufmann was recently recognized by the school for breaking the school's most career points record.

Kaufmann finished her career with 2,163 points, beating the previous record held by 2002 graduate Sara Long Stevenson.

The school recognized her at an event that also honored its 2016 Hall of Fame inductees. Kaufmann attended the event with her uncle Andy Kaufmann, who graduated in 1988 and holds the record for most points scored in a career in boys basketball at the school.
