Southeast High School boys basketball wins sectional title

The Southeast High School boys basketball team defeated Lanphier High School 62-57 to earn the 3A Taylorville Sectional title.

The team was led by junior Trevyon Williams, who scored 23 points (4-5 for three-pointers) for the Spartans. D'Angelo Hughes scored 18 for the team.

The Spartans won in front of a sold-out crowd of 2,057. It is the first sectional title for the school since 1980.
