The Board of Education for Greenfield Community Schools met yesterday to authorize the superintendent to complete a variety of actions, including developing a tentative budget for the upcoming school year.
The board also examined whether to authorize the superintendent to seek bids for the milk, bread and refuse collection, to post for a full-time high school social science teacher and to post for a full-time MS language arts/computer teacher.
Additional action items at the meeting included considering the SAPCO contract, appointing board insurance committee members and coop committee members and considering the transportation bids and high school gym project.
