The Board of Education for Jacksonville School District 117 met recently at Jacksonville High School to go over salary reconciliations, stipends for teachers and coaches, leaves of absence for certain employees, and the posting of district employment applications.
During the standing report portion of the meeting, Bob Roads gave a monthly update on the middle school and Lincoln Elementary School projects as part of Vision 117. He noted that both schools would be connected via intercom and telephones.
In addition to seven board members, also in attendance were Superintendent Steve Ptacek, Assistant Superintendent Dana Kinley, Director of Curriculum and Instruction Sarah Raynor and Chief Financial Officer Jamie Hadjan.
