The Community Unit School District No. 100 Board of Education held a special meeting April 12 to impose disciplinary actions on an employee.
This resulted to the dismissal of the custodian Ross Breitweiser who, based on sufficient reasons and causes, was determined to have stolen prescription medication from several students. The board believes that this will have a detrimental effect on the school district's operation.
The board is led by President Ed Test, Vice President Sherry Droste and Secretary Stan Kary. The members include Peggy Perdun, Julie Pohlman and William Yamnitz.
