The Board of Education of Taylorville Community Unit School District No. 3 met at 6:45 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2017, at the Administration Office. Board Members Present: President Steve Milling, Secretary Jim Andruch (6:48 p.m.), Dennis Atteberry, Bruce Barry, Rick Bryan, and Seth McMillan (6:46 p.m.)
Board Member Absent: Vice President Katie Fraley
Also present: Superintendent Greggory Fuerstenau, Business Manager Colene German, and Matt Hutchison (THS Principal), Brodee Smart, Jennifer Vincent and Mr. Jackson (Parents).
The following proceedings were had and entered to wit:

The motion was made by Mr. Atteberry and seconded by Mr. Bryan to enter into closed session at 6:45 p.m. to discuss a student disciplinary case.
Roll call vote was as follows: Atteberry, yes; Barry, yes; Bryan, yes; Milling, yes. The motion carried 4-0.
The motion was made by Mr. McMillan and seconded by Mr. Atteberry to return to open session at 6:56 p.m.
Roll call vote was as follows: Atteberry, yes; Barry, yes; Bryan, yes; McMillan, yes; Milling, yes. The motion carried 5-0.
The motion was made by Mr. Bryan and seconded by Mr. Atteberry to place student A at ChrisMont for the remainder of the 16-17 school year.
Roll call vote was as follows: Andruch, yes; Atteberry, yes; Barry, yes; Bryan,
yes; McMillan, yes; Milling, yes. The motion carried 6-0.
The motion was made by Mr. Bryan and seconded by Mr. Barry to adjourn at 6:59 p.m. The motion carried 6-0.
