Taylorville Community Unit School District 3 Curriculum Committee met Feb. 6.

The meeting of the Curriculum Committee was called to order by Chairperson Katie Fraley (via Skype) at 8:40 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2017, at the Administration Office.
Also present: Committee members Jim Andruch and Bruce Barry, Board of Education members Steve Milling, Dennis Atteberry, Rick Bryan, and Seth Mc Millan, Superintendent Greggory Fuerstenau, Business Manager, Colene German, Matt Hutchison (THS Principal), Brandi Bruley (North Principal), Anita Brown (Stonington Principal), Chris Kuntzman (Technology Director), Karen Kuntzman (Technology Integration Specialists) and members of CFE.
Mr. Hutchison shared that they are almost done with the scheduling process for the High School. He also said that 20 students have signed up for the CEO Program, 70 students have signed up with LLCC and 42 students have signed up for classes at CACC. Mr. Hutchison also shared that the High School will recognize all the Illinois Scholar winners since the program’s inception in 2000. In addition, the High School has begun providing SAT prep classes on Saturdays.
