City of Quincy Traffic Commission met June 12.

Here is the agenda provided by the Commission:

1. Approval of minutes from the May 8, 2017 meeting

2. Public Comment (3 minute limit)

3. Old Business

a) Alderman Brink’s referral to the speed limit on 16th and Van Buren

b) Alderman VanCamp’s referral to study the speed limit on Cherry Lane, 12th to 24th Streets

c) Alderman Holtschlag’s referral to change the “No Parking” hours to 8:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m. in front of 529 South 8th Street

4. New Business

a) Alderman Havermale’s referral for the placement of “No Outlet” or “Dead End” signage at the entrance of 36th and Wysteria Lane

b) Alderman Havermale’s referral for the possibility of a “4-Way” Stop at the intersection of 26th and Lind Streets

c) Alderman Bergman’s referral to change “Yield” signs to “Stop” signs at the intersection of 16th and College Avenue

d) Alderman Lepper’s referral to study the intersection of 28th and Midlan Drive

e) Alderman Rein’s referral for “No Parking” on South Holford Drive beginning at 3427 South Holford and extending to the west a distance of 42 feet

f) Alderman Bergman’s referral for the addition of two parking stalls with half hour parking on the west side of North 12th Street between Spring and Oak Streets

g) Engineering Department’s request for the possibility of a “Stop” sign for northbound traffic at the intersection of 28th and Cedar Streets
