Unpaid fines for Pekin-based campaign committees totaled $704.47 in January 2017

Campaign committees in Pekin collectively owe a total of $704.47 in overdue fees, records obtained by the West Central Reporter show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that two committees in Pekin were delinquent in payment for January 2017.

The Pekin-based committee with the largest total in unpaid fines was Citizens to Elect John McCabe, which owes a total of $629.47.

The largest fine that Citizens to Elect John McCabe has yet to pay was imposed on June 8, 2015, for a late D-1 report. The amount of this fine alone is $429.47.

The following table lists all campaign committees in Pekin owing unpaid fines in January 2017, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections:
