Call to Order and Roll Call
The Southeastern Community Unit District #337 Board of Education met in regular session on Monday, July 24, 2017 in the Board of Education Office in Augusta, Illinois. Steve Bruenger, Board Vice President, called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

Special Recognition
Superintendent Fox reviewed the end of the year awards for the Board Excellence.
Financial
Superintendent Fox reviewed the monthly financial snapshot which the end of the year fund balances. The state owes us $328,492 from FY17.
On a motion by Member O’Neal and a second by Member Tippey, the Board of Education approved to schedule a public hearing on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 for the purpose of public information and input into the FY18 school district budget.

Superintendent Fox gave update on the start of school dates with Teacher Institute on August 23 and August 24 with students attending August 25.
Superintendent Fox reviewed the current bus fleet and lease agreements.
Superintendent Fox reviewed the vocational and cooperative transportation procedures.
Superintendent Fox presented information regarding the online learning center.

On a motion by Member Holst and a second by Member O’Neal, the Board of Education approved the 2017-2018 Southeastern Junior/Senior High School and Elementary handbooks as presented.
