The calls in Quincy included 180 fires - 76 structure fires, 24 vehicle fires and 75 other fires. The fire department also responded to five calls for ruptures, explosions or overheating.
In all, the department saw $3,055,043 in fire loss - or about $16,972 per fire.
The department also received 493 false calls, including 39 malicious calls and 454 other false calls.
The calls resulted in one civilian fire-related injury and two civilian fire-related deaths. Additionally, five fire service members were injured in fire-related incidents and 12 were injured in non fire-related incidents.
The Quincy Firefighters' Pension Fund, which has 63 active employees and 83 retired or inactive employees, was $3,122,363 in debt as of April 2016, according to the fund's mandated filings with the Illinois Department of Insurance. That amounts to $17,346 for every fire in 2016.
