Quincy City Council met Sept. 25.

PETITIONS
By the Knights of Columbus requesting permission to hold their annual “Tootsie Roll” tag days for People with Intellectual Disabilities October 13th & 14th at various locations in the city.
By the 2017 Quincy Notre Dame Student Council requesting permission to have their Homecoming parade on October 12th starting at 6:30 p.m. Line-up will begin at 5:15 p.m. between 9th and 12th
Street on Hampshire. The parade will progress down Hampshire to 5th Street, south on 5th to Maine then east down Maine Street back to the starting place. They request assistance of the Auxiliary police.
By Illini Insurance/Benefiting Ya Ezra V’Shula requesting permission to conduct a raffle and have the bond requirement waived from now until 11/03/17. The City Clerk recommends approval of this permit.
RESOLUTIONS
Utilities and Engineering Director recommending approval of the low quote from Klingner and Assoc. in the amount of $5,800 for the biennial inspection of twelve bridge and culvert structures in the city.
Chief of Police and the Police Aldermanic Committee recommending approval of a 2013 Hyundai Sonata, awarded through the Drug Asset Forfeiture Procedure Act, becoming a part of the Police Department fleet.
Chief of Police and the Police Aldermanic Committee recommending approval of the low quote from Cardiac Partners, Dublin OH, in the amount of $5,495 for three Cardiac Science Powerheart G-3 Plus Semi-Automatic AEDs and accessories.
Chief of Police and the Police Aldermanic Committee recommending approval of the low quote from Kiesler Police Supply, Jeffersonville, IN, in the amount of $4,749.85 for chemical munitions.
