Quincy City Council will meet March 26.

Here is the agenda provided by the Council:

Petitions:

By State Street Bar and Grill, 1638 State, requesting permission to close 17th from State street south to the alley for a cornhole tournament for Juvenile Diabetes on July 14th from noon until 8:00 p.m. They are also requesting Section 111.096 (a) (Consumption and Possession of Alcoholic Liquor on Public Streets, Alleys, and Sidewalks and Lots) , Section 111.096 (d) (Permitting open liquor to leave licensed premises) and Section 111.067(a) Selling Outside Licensed Premises be waived. They will have outside music no later than 8:00 p.m.

By Penny Roberts, AirMedCare Network, requesting permission to land the Air Evac Helicopter at Crossing South Parking lot on April 19th, from 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for “Transportation Day-Crossing School”. The Quincy Fire Department will handle the securing of the landing zones during landing and takeoff.

Preston Kinard, Jamie Jackson, Jayden Sutton, Ben Beilsmith, Jarrett Bryson, Sarrah Diamond, Wendell Bias Jr., Curtis Taylor, McKenzie Decker, Emily Maple, Ben Brown, Mitchell Vaughn, Alexandria Jarvis, and Crystal Shaw.

Resolution:

Resolution replacing signage at the Amtrak Station.

Second reading of an ordinance entitled:

An Ordinance Amending The 2017-2018 Fiscal Year Budget. (General Fund #001 amount of $76,000 transferred to Fire Department budget for additional overtime costs.)

An Ordinance Amending Chapter 40 (Boards And Commissions) Of The Municipal Code Of The City Of Quincy. (Quincy Next Development Commission)
