Western Community Unit School District 12 issued the following announcement on April 27.
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Education of Western Community Unit School District No. 12, Pike County, Illinois, has under consideration an application and plan to the State Board of Education requesting that, Western Community Unit School District No. 12, Pike and Adams Counties, Illinois, be granted a waiver from the provision of the School Code, 105 ILCS 5/17-1.5, as it relates to limitation of Administrative Costs.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that a PUBLIC HEARING on the plan will be held on Monday, May 14 at 6:00 p.m. in the Western High School Cafeteria, 401 McDonough Street, Barry, Illinois, after which hearing the Board will vote on such plan.
In addition to the members of the general public, educators directly involved in the implementation of this waiver, parents and students are encouraged to express their views.
