The Macomb City Council met in a regular session on Monday, February 5, 2018 at 5:15 p.m. in Macomb City Hall, City Council Chambers, 232 East Jackson, Macomb, Illinois.
Pledge
Mayor Michael Inman called the meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor Inman.
Roll Call
City Clerk Melanie Falk called the roll and the following Aldermen answered present: Mike Wayland, John Vigezzi, Mellie Gilbert, Tom Koch, Gayle Carper, Don Wynn and Dennis Moon. Seven Aldermen being present, Mayor Inman declared a quorum present for the transaction of business. Treasurer Ron Ward was absent.
Swear In Police Officer Carrillo
City Clerk Melanie Falk swore in new Macomb Police Officer Carolina Carrillo.
Consent Agenda

Minutes of the Macomb City Council meeting held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 and Committee of the Whole meetings held on Monday, January 8, 2018 and Monday January 22, 2018.

Department Reports: Police Department and Fire Department
Consideration to authorize the purchase of a Strategic Response Team (SR) vehicle for the Police Department.
Consideration to renew the agreement with Dr. David L. Miller dba Macomb Medical Group of Macomb, LLC to perform physicals for city employees.
Consent Approved
Alderman Moon moved, seconded by Alderman Wynn to adopt the consent agenda as published, Agenda on question being put, Aldermen Wayland, Vigezzi, Gilbert, Koch, Carper, Wynn and Moon being all Aldermen voting “Aye” on roll call and no “Nay” votes, Mayor Inman declared the motion carried.

Purchase Sludge Pump Zimmer & Francescon $10,224.00
Alderman Koch moved, seconded by Alderman Vigezzi to authorize the purchase of a Rotary Lobe Sludge Pump from Zimmer & Francescon in the amount of $10,224.00 on question being put, Aldermen Vigezzi, Gilbert, Koch, Carper, Wynn, Moon and Wayland being all Aldermen voting “Aye” on roll call and no “Nay” votes, Mayor Inman declared the motion carried.
Purchase Lime Slaker Parts Sidener Environmental Services $11,653.20
Alderman Koch moved, seconded by Alderman Carper to authorize the purchase of replacement parts for the Lime Slaker at the Macomb Water Treatment plant from Sidener Environmental Services in the amount of $11,653.20 on question being put, Aldermen Gilbert, Koch, Carper, Wynn, Moon, Wayland and Vigezzi being all Aldermen voting “Aye” on roll call and no “Nay” votes, Mayor Inman declared the motion carried.
Council Adjournment
There being no further business to come before the council, Alderman Vigezzi moved, seconded by Alderman Moon to adjourn, all Aldermen voted “Aye” by Viva Voca vote, Mayor Inman declared the motion carried and they adjourned at 5:26 p.m.
