McDonough District Hospital issued the following announcement on May 10.
McDonough District Hospital congratulates the Acute Care staff for receiving a Healing Hand award, an honor within the Grateful Patient Program at MDH.
A recent Grateful Patient recognized the staff for wonderful and attentive care. In the Grateful Patient’s own words, “The entire staff was always caring, kind and compassionate, offering their time, patience and knowledge in whatever their job.”
The Grateful Patient Program provides an opportunity for patients and/or families to show their gratitude and appreciation in honor of the excellent care received. In addition to recognizing a Healing Hand, patients and/or families may make a financial contribution to support an area of care or direct their gift to a more specific cause. Gifts are used to enhance and continue the outstanding level of care in our community.
