Report: Nauvoo-Colusa spent $12,285 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Nauvoo-Colusa Community Unit School District 325 is up 20 percent from five years ago, according to a West Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Hancock County school district spent $10,249 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $12,285 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 277 to 244.

Nauvoo-Colusa's spending in 2016-17 was 5 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
