Report: Griggsville-Perry spent $11,707 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Griggsville-Perry Community Unit School District 4 is up 8 percent from five years ago, according to a West Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Pike County school district spent $10,833 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $11,707 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 412 to 394.

Griggsville-Perry's spending in 2016-17 was 10 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
