Bowen Fire Protection District responded to five calls in 2017 - same as the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Bowen included three fires - one structure fire, one vehicle fire and one other fire.

The department also received two false calls.

The Bowen Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $36,949 in 2017.
