Hamilton Fire Department responded to 16 calls in 2017 - 33.3 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Hamilton included 15 fires - five structure fires, three vehicle fires and seven other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

The Hamilton Fire Department had an annual budget of $10,613 in 2017.
