City of Greenville Band Board met April 16.
Here is the minutes provided by the Board:
1. Call to order at 4 pm by Ryan Thomason. All in attendance Marilyn Richards, Dale Martin, Kathy Beatty, and director Chris Woods.
2. Review of minutes. Motion to approve by Dale and seconded by Kathy Beatty. Motion passes.
3. Confirm and approve schedule and budget to present to board 2018 season.
Motion by Kathy Beatty to move to remove Thursday June 28, concert and change the Wednesday July 4, 2018 concert to Thursday July
5, 2018 at the court house square, maintaining the practice schedule as proposed. Seconded by Dale Martin. Motion passed.
Motion to approve the budget by Dale Martin as presented by Chris Woods.
Kathy Beatty seconded. Motion Passed.
4. Suggestions and discussion. Kathy Beatty is taking care of the rain dates at United Methodist Church. Rehearsals will be held at the high school upon administrative approval through director Megan McPeak.
5. Set next meeting date and time Monday July 9, 2018 at 10 a.m.
6. Motion to Adjourn by Kathy Beatty and seconded by Marilyn Richards.
