60 percent of applicants to MacMurray College were admitted for fall 2017

At MacMurray College, 91 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 55 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Jacksonville enrolled 521 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 5.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

78 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois, and 22 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (76 percent) and Black or African American (9 percent).

The school admitted 60 percent of the 1,087 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 22 percent enrolled.
